Lee to Phillies!!!

Unbelieveable, didn't see that coming. Well I wonder if the next move will be attaining Zack from the Royals for Michael Young, then signing Adrian Beltre

Blanton is a free agent, but that is a brutal starting pitching lineup. I guess Lee just didn't want to be the man here, just be one of them there.

This would be a nice move... but I don't think the Royals have any interest in Young.

Still, the Rangers should get Beltre, move Young to DH (better than Vlad), and maybe sign Blanton? Or just wait until the July 1 trade deadline to pick up a high-end starter. They were in 1st place without Cliff Lee for 1/2 the season. The rest of the AL West will be better this year, but the Rangers aren't going away.

Can't believe the "Murderers Row" of a starting staff the Phillies have.

From what I've seen, Royals want major league ready help up the middle in a trade...the one area the Rangers don't have a lot to offer. To get the trade done, it would seem it would need to be a three way trade.
