I'll offer this comment, your lefty is right with my son, a 16 lefty (82mph). You will get a dozen different suggestions.
From my point of view: Set a baseball budget, evaluate travel/select teams, showcases and camps and participate in the ones that you feel give your son the most bang for the buck.
Travel/select teams, your call, they can be very expensive and depending on the team, you may not get what you expect.
Showcases, I think a couple are mandatory, PG does a fine job and could lead to other contacts. I've seen my favorite college at several of the showcases/tournaments we've attended (WWBA for example)
Camps, some college recruit from their camps, some just use it to raise money. My son did hear from one smaller school that they mainly recruit from their camp.
Finally, sometimes you can find open tryouts that are offered by local pro teams. These are sometimes attended by local colleges too.
Happy hunting. If you find the magic answer please share.
