Don't know much regarding the camp itself but the Lemoyne Coaching Staff is solid and they are fine men

I call that the best of both worlds !!!

I am a high school player from the greater Syracuse area and have attended the camp for the last three years. It is a great experience and yes the coaching there is excellent. From existing players to the head coach Steve Owens everyone working the camp is comitted to helping on anything. Positions do have an impact on the rating. I am a middle infielder and believe that infield and pitching get the most props at the camp. For catchers it is not great as only about 5-10 attend. For outfield it is average. The big deal was to hit as there was 5 outdoor and 2 indoor cages with @ least a coach at everyone. Usually at the end of the week everyone has played about 4 games including one on Rockwell Field (the main field). About 75-150 kids age 12-18 usually attend and it is a good camp for its value.

I go to a small school outside of Auburn (30 min SW SYR). It is called Union Springs but because our team is not very good I have to do a lot of travel and play with competitive Syr. leagues. ESM is a pretty big school but it is good that your son plays ball in Virg. because they are not very good in baseball either.
