....raised him to be independent. Raised him not to lower the bar, but keep on moving it higher....to reach....and never settle.....

Brought him up....to seek the good....celebrate and respect life, love books, appreciate a good education, and on two strikes.....widen out and shorten up.....

He is leaving for school soon....we went shopping for his dorm room today.....and...it is becoming clearer......

He learned his lessons well.....so why am I having such a tough time with it all right now? Anyone else?

Red- TPM that's a great nickname!

It does get easier, when you realize they are well adjusted, happy, (have overcome some obstacles), and are using the wings you gave them!! Smile

Adult children bring their own joy with them! I have enjoyed each stage- from infancy, toddlers , rebellious teens, etc. But I find myself enjoying my "near adult" ,( but I am still paying the bills Big Grin" kids as well.
