What is the best way to send a letter to a coach? I am thinking sending a letter through the normal USPS and then a follow up e-mail about a week later. Would this be the best way or is there another? Thanks
My son has only done e-mail and has had replies from the majority he has sent to....in an e-mail, of course, you can include a direct link to a VIDEO, which is crucial.....the coach scans the e-mail, sees the video link, clicks it - and boom, instant access to what your player looks like and how he performs.....a paper letter can't do that, and making things as easy as possible on a time-crunched coach is critical, IMHO
I would have to concur, although if it were a school that was in my sons top several, they would get both, including a DVD of the video that is linked in the email.
I have become a believer in expressing sincere interest to coaching staffs you are seriously interested in. I believe coaches need to hear not just that you're interested (i.e. fielding offers), but want to know the level of interest also. I believe they are much more likely to spend time looking over a recruit that's highly motivated to attend their institution.
so send an e-mail to the colleges I have on my list. then pick out about the top 10 and send them both? What is the best way to get a video? I currently dont have one.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
Note: if you proceed, you will no longer be following .
