Just wanted to post a message on the board about a left handed pitcher from Lake Brantley HS in Orlando area. Ryan Markell is currently a freshman, vying for a spot on the varsity team in the spring. He was a member of the 2001 U.S. Little League champs. He is currently throwing his fastball in the low to mid 80's and is working on an improving change up. He possess a great amount of poise and command on the mound. Has anyone seen him pitch?

I seen ryan play, very good pitcher! probably the best LHP in central, fl. I played against
him, his ball moves all over and its very hard to hit his fast ball mid 80's. his change up drops at the plate. ryan should make any team he tries out for and he is the best first basemen for any age. I hope to play against him in high school good luck ryan
