Can a LHP ever not come to a stop when pitching out of the stretch? Team had 2 base runners picked of 1st by lefty who never came close to coming set before leg came up.

Pitchers, regardless of handedness, do not have to come set if they are going throw to a base.
Thanks. That is what i was thinking but it seems like umpires immediatly call the balk when there is no pause, not waiting to see if pitcher is throwing to a base
