I have a LHP/1B who is looking for a team who is looking to bolster their roster for the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter this October 22-26. His regular teams are not attending this event, and he really wants a chance to compete on this stage.

Here are some particulars ... He is a 2011, 6'-1", 195#, LHP/1B. He closed the summer sitting between 78-80 and touching 83-84, with a CB & Splitter he throws for strikes. He throws strikes, pitches to contact, and gets people out. We live in VA, but he is used to playing for select teams from around the country, and integrates easily into a dugout and team culture. He tends to be a quiet, respectful, serious player, who will give you his best at whatever you ask of him.

To paraphrase his National Travel Team Coach: he won't melt your radar gun, all he does is goes out and wins. His National Travel Team competed in the USA 16U's (Phoenix) and WWB 16U's (East Cobb) this summer, compiling a 6-7 overall record ... 5-0 when southpaw_son Pitched (starting, relief, closing). 5 appearances, 18 innings, 2 earned runs (if I recall properly). He also hit .400+ combined, driving in key runs in critical situations, and played a very solid 1B.

I fully expect that he won't be the best athlete on your team, but he is a great team guy, will work his butt off ... and he has a knack for helping his teams win.

Please PM me if you are interested in discussing. Thank you.

You can always sign up as an individual. PG puts together a handful of teams of individuals and plays in the event. There is an online app on the PG website. They review the players credentials and if worthy assign them to a PG team.

If the players fall team makes it and he chooses to go that route they will refund the individual fee (which is the same as a normal individual PG fee).

Good luck
