"Light" or "White" Sleeves

well.....unfortunately you are wrong, the other coach was right and the umpire should have known better....

NFHS rules 1-4-2 prohibits only white undershirt sleeves on pitchers outright.....

the rule does give an umpire the right however to rule on any items on a pitchers hands and arms that the umpire determines as distracting......

I guess some Umpire might find yellow sleeves distracting, but I would consider him "OOO" for doing so.....which is umpire speak for "overly officious official" I would especially be concerned if yellow was a team/uniform color....

In my book yellow is not white.....and as such I would have dismissed your complaint without even a seconds consideration or hesitation......

With all due respect, NFHS 1-4-2 also prohibits the pitcher from having gray undershirt sleeves. (if exposed)

No extra respect required Pilsner!...I was wrong in leaving out grey........

Grey is also prohibited....as per rule......guess I was just stunned that an umpire could be talked into this.....
