Tournament in San Diego, CA. My school is playing in it this spring.

Does anybody know info about it? It seems like a big tournament. It has to be for us to travel from FL to CA.

We are the major sponsor of the Lions Tournament in San Diego. We also scout this event each year. It's a very large tournament, perhaps the biggest high school tournament (100+ teams) in the country. Many outstanding teams, mostly from Southern California. Weather and baseball in San Diego is about as good as it gets.
Most importantly, all the money raised is used to help young baseball players. I hope you guys enjoy the trip.

Our High school won one of the divisions in 2009.
What kind of scouting does PG do there? Is it the full thing like a normal PG event with the player profiles, Or is it for basic scouting purposes?

Typically we send a couple guys from our main office and use several of our contacts in Southern California. We are there for the same reasons other scouts would attend, looking for the best talent possible. There is a lot of talent there.
No player profiles or photos, just lots of notes and grades on lots of players.
