Liquid MEtal - SUper Technology? Market Ploy?

Personally, I won't knock it until I try it, but I won't spend $200 on something I don't believe in. I have to see it used and see how it performs before I'd spend that much. Me, give me a wood bat for practice and an Omaha for games and I'm a happy camper.

The cheap plastic knob broke off my son's bat during a Tournament. When I returned the bat, they said that it had happened to others as well.

After I posted this in another thread the response from some bat distributors was that the knob was plastic because of weight issues.

Hmmmmm...Easton, Louisville, Worth, etc. don't seem to have the weight problem with their aluminum knobs...

I'll bet that the cheap plastic knob is replaced on next years model.

i think it will be a good investment to have right now.. because the technology of baseball is going to expand, this is a great direction for it to go.

I;ve gotten the bat and used it for a bit now, i like it a lot, am a little concerned with the knob, and its a little end-heavy, but overall it hsa great pop for the price (equal to connexion 888) (I've used both)

I've heard good things about the Liquidmetal bat. Priced right also.

I honestly fell in love with it. Saw it used in a scrimmage sounded like it had great pop. Bought it that night and had it by the end of that week. It has the most pop out of any bat that I have used.

Knob has fallen off both of the bats people have on my team, not very impressed with it. It has alot of "pop" sound, but I would compare actual pop "power" with the Omaha.
