Little League 13/14 year old Junior Division

Does anybody have experience with the Little League 13/14 year old leagues, which they refer to as "Junior Division?"

My understanding is they do a World Series much like the 12U tournament. Has anybody attempted to qualify for it, or does anyone have experience with LL in this age group?

My Son played 13/14 Jr League last year as well as his older brother and sister had participated while growing up.
Our local league has 3 teams that travel locally and compete. At the end of the year each town is represented by an all star team. The teams in our District (usually about 12 teams) compete in a pool play tourney then double elimnation with the winner advancing to Sectionals. Our state has 5 sections that compete with the winners of each section participated in a State Tournament. The winner of this double elimination tourney advances to the Central and so forth.

My son also plays travel ball which we prefer over the Jr. League. He's a good size boy that didn't have too much trouble with the pitching distance, however we prefer the other distances over the 60/90 at 13-14...especially for pitching............(protect those arms!)
