Little League dissolving Big League divisions in 2017

Little League is ending the over 16 divisions. I doubt this division ever had as many kids as the others, but even less in the past 5-10 years.

The article says it's always been 1% of total LL participation. It's understandable to end such a small program. There are still many options in this age group
