HaltomScout,
Both of my sons attended this camp as their first college camps when they were a sophomore and a freshman respectively. I think it is very good starter camp to get the butterflies out. Frank Dorner talks directly to the parents and offers some good info especially in the question and answer portion where he has three or four college coaches participate. You especially can learn something about attending Juco's which had not really crossed our mind before that. The facilities at Blynn are excellent and the camp is run like most others in that 60's are run, throwing from positions, bullpens, and game simulation Sunday. First year had higher talent level while second year seemed younger concentration. First year son got four AB's in game while second year guys were lucky if they got two AB's. Frank Dorner is good about answering questions on the phone if you have any later. You get a written grade sheet that shows your 60 times and has a few comments about three weeks later in the mail.
