Jumpin Jack...warriors? come on

How about good ball players

I'm sure they are good but they are 15...and probably having a lot of fun...but not warriors.

Are they playing with broken bones,,,, missing limbs,,,sleeping on the streets begging for food or money for their next $350 bat, or next private batting lesson.

It's a game...call them tough hard nosed players if its accurate...if you want to see warriors turn on Fox News or CNN.
"Warriors" or not, the Longhorns are in the midst of the 15U AAU Nationals in Roanoke right now.
Finished 2-1 in pool play, advancing to the Championship pool.
IN the first game in the championship pool, they came from behind to beat Rise Baseball, 6-4.
Tim Black (Hickory) belted a 2 run shot in the 5th to tie the game at 4. Gary Ward (Hickory) lined a 2 out single in the 7th to take the lead, and then went to the mound in the bottom of the 7th to earn the save.
In yesterday's game vs. Bandits baseball, Kyle Irish (Park View) hit a 3 run bomb at Kiwanis Field in Salem. The Horns won 7-1. Estimated HR distance: 360 ft.

The Longhorns will face last year's AAU Champs, the Starmaker Sharks from CA, at 11:30AM. Hook 'em Horns!

tough loss today against the Sharks, 10-8. Our coaches chose to pitch two guys who regularly don't pitch in order to "reset" our staff. We knew they would get hit, certainly we got ours. We were down 10-2 at one point, but these boys never gave up.
Due to the slow pace, the game was called after 6 innings because of the time limit restrictions.
We felt if the 7th was played, we may have caught them.
We hit into DPs in the first and second. You never know, but one of the may have made the difference.
The Longhorns now face Lightning Baseball on Wednesday @ 11:30AM. A win will put the Horns into the Championship Bracket, fighting for one of the top 8 spots.
Go Horns!!
