Longwood Baseball Where?

Longwood Baseball. Where is it going? Conference? Without a conference there is no NCAA opportunity. Their schedule is about the worst in D1. Check their RPI SOS. What is the plan. The university location is good for recruiting players. The field was renovated I believe. Great Alum coaching tree. But what are they playing for? Anyone know what is going on there? Seems like it could be better. How long does Buddy Bolding stay??? He recuited me and I am in my 40's.

The school is only a handful of years into D-1, and unfortunately has not been able to get access to a conference yet. Big South would be a great fit but the word is consistently that they won't get in without football, and there are no plans for football.

I know it's not for lack of effort but it's just hard to say when it will resolve.

As for Coach Bolding, I haven't heard anything about him retiring. My impression is he loves it and will stay until Bliley's comes to get him.
