The Derek Hacopian Baseball Academy (Gaithersburg,MD) will be holding tryouts at the end of August for a fall showcase baseball team. The team will be participating in 3-4 showcase tournaments throughout the Mid-Atlantic region during various weekends in September and October. The focus of the team will be to expose high school players to collegiate coaches, while looking to also improve the players skills/fundamentals. During specific fall weekdays, the team will be participating in the Northern Virginia Travel Baseball League (NVTBL). The NVTBL will be used to improve the players skills/fundamentals in preparation for the "showcase" weekends. I will have the exact date of the tryout by the end of the week.
