He sounds like a good candidate for the Lombard Lightning travel team. I'm sure some one on this site can give some
information on this.

That is true, it sounds as though this young player has some of the High quality tools and back ground that the Express team requires as a player. What do you think Express!!!!!

My son did in fact try out for the team after MAJOR pleading by us - we told him to try out and see what happens. The coaches (except the head coach) all wanted him on the team - all know his skill levels, etc. However, as expected - due to various reasons - not having to do with skill level - he was cut on the last day. The coaches and the AD were not happy about it - we in fact got calls from them - "but the head coaches decision is final". A couple other very good players were cut also. All who were planning on either playing Summer Travel or Summer Legion ball. This seems to be a big no-no for this coach. Due to the fact that it would not have been very much fun at all we are not really upset abuot this - however, we do need a competitive travel team so that the exposure is still there - along with the continuing PG showcase exposure, etc.

Has one try out scheduled for this Thursday with a team, but still looking - so any info the members can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
