cosby did hit 3 HRs, 2 hanging curves that lowery and hamlett knew how to easily handle....WP vs PB pretty subjective...plenty were in the dirt, some probably by design with 2 strikes...some just off the glove...anyway, some catchers stop them, some don't..up to someone to decide whose fault it is (P or C). Having seen Cosby 3 times now, I think we're seeing a team getting better, established players now playing as expected, and development of new players. I think Midlo did well against them for the 1st game of the year, and the last game Cosby showed the depth of their talent against Midlo. As I saw batter after batter come up, each one looked bigger than the last..up through their 7th batter I think, they all looked like big time players (not saying the 8-9 hitters aren't, but at least it appeared Midlo had a chance pitching against them)..for some reason I didn't get that impression the 1st time I saw them (again I think their 1st game of the year they weren't on yet).
i always defend the catcher! if you watch a baseball game you may see a catcher reallyhaveto drop amd block a ball 3 maybe 4 times a game....when they aredoing that 3 or 4 times an INNING something is wrong.
