In the past 12 months, I have seen countless 2021s reclassing to 2022s - while they are in HS - and even a few 2022s going to 2023.
Seriously, if I concentrate, I could name at least a dozen. It's that many.

I heard a 2026 grad reclassifed to 2027.
Lately in SoCal I’ve seen a couple 2026 players reclassify down to 2027. I’m sure we’ll see more 2025s become 2026s once the school year is over.
I was wondering about this too, Francis. Like you I know a few 2022's who reclassed, and was wondering how that would work baseball-wise. Suddenly I remembered that NJ granted another year of HS eligibility to spring athletes who missed their season last year. Maybe that is why?

When it first passed, I thought no one would want to do it. Since then, I have heard of a few doing it. Nothing surprises me any more.
