My son was being recruited by La. Tech last year at this time. We were very impressed by Coach Simoneau and his staff. My son took an unofficial visit and found Ruston to be a little too small and rural for his liking. I know that Coach Simoneau has a good reputation with some people in the Metroplex. One of his best players is Jericho Jones from the Lake Dallas area. I expect that Keller Dad could put you in touch with his parents.

Lots of traveling for WAC conference games, more than any other conference in the nation. Every roadtrip is pretty much halfway accross the nation (california) or halfway accross the world. (hawaii) Although this may seem cool to an 18 year old, it gets taxing and tough to keep up with schoolwork being on a plane/bus so much.
US News ranks LTU in the bottom 25% academically, for whatever that is worth.
