Somebody, break up the Panthers...great job Goldberg and Hill. Use up all your hits in Lubbock Big Grin.[/QUOTE]

Tychco, How prophetic you are...CV Heritage wins game 1 today 15-5 but loses this afternoon 5-4 in the bottom of the 7th with the bats going cold...and Hill gets hit on glove wrist with liner during pitching stint in Friday's game...but don't actually know if a break or not.

Also, Arlington Martin romps to 10-0 and 12-3 wins today.

I was not pulling for that type of break, especially a stud like Steven. I hope it isn't broken. Travel safe back from the Hub of the South Plains and we will see you soon.

Tycho, I absolutely know you were not rooting for something like that...it never crossed my mind but just a play on words. We're hoping for the best and a speedy recovery.
bring it,

It is funny that you say that. I have called pitches and worked with my pitchers the last 12 years. This year I decided to turn those duties over to my assistant. I have worked more with the hitters and outfielders. It is difficult for me to give that up because I love working with pitchers on a daily basis.

Our pitching staff is young. Of the 10 guys that have pitched, 7 will be back next year. Of those 10, only 3 had varsity innings coming into this year. Our sophomore lefty beat Midland and is now 3-0. He will be a real good one when he graduates from here.

Hopefully we can sustain our offense throughout the year.
