Lynnhaven Baseball 19U Team will host open-sign ups on Saturday, 23 May from 1000-1200 at Trant Field 586 N. Lynnhaven Road, next to King's Grant Elementary School. We do not have a try-out, we believe every kid should get a change to play. We will have a second sign-up period in early June - but do not wait...that will be mostly for the remaining High School Players still in the Playoffs. We could play as early as 4 or 5 June!

Lynnhaven Baseball is open to all 19U players in the Tidewater Area with a birthdate after 1 May 1989. However - we do have a restriction on 19 year-old players during tournament play - we are limited to only three on the roster - So you will have to earn/beat out some of the best to make it! We will keep the best 18 players for the tournament team!

As mentioned in the below posts, we are without a doubt (over the past 4 years) the best team in the Tidewater Area at this age group. So if you are up for some exciting baseball and tough competition - come on out. We will probably have two teams and both will play some wood bat games along with metal bat games.

Please ensure you bring a copy of your birth certificate along with your drivers license. If you are under the age of 18, please bring a parent with you to sign the registration form.

Lynnhaven Baseball in Virginia Beach will start their search for 19U Players in the coming months. Over the past four years, the team has compiled a record of 129 wins to only 15 losses with berths to World Series action in Puerto Rico and Jackson, MS. Both teams had to win their berths thru regional and zone events, not just pay money and go play. Last year’s players had the opportunity to play in over 35 baseball games.

We accept every player that wants to play and trim our roster to the best 18 players or 36 if we have enough players after we complete a 12-20 game tryout season. Last season we formed two teams and both did extremely well…..One competing in the Palomino Regional and the other playing in the NABF Wood Bat World Series in Jackson, MS after winning a regional in Bowie, MD.

We will be returning about 10-14 players from last years team, so we will be strong again. Our roster last year was comprised of 7 D1 players, 5 D3 players, and 5 JUCO players along with a few other outstanding student athletes. Additionally, two of our unsigned senior’s signed after being scouted during summer season.

So, if you are looking for a baseball program that will give you the best bank for your buck during the summer, please consider our program. Most of the players last year spent less than $400 dollars out of pocket. This included playing in four tournaments and out of area trips to Bowie, MD (4 days) and Jackson, MS (5 days). The Jackson, MS trip was scouted by numerous pro scouts and at least 30 colleges, including most of the SEC schools. Not to mention, we stopped at a Braves game along the way...paid for by our fund raising tournament!

We start our season in conjuction with the end of the Virginia High School State playoffs.

So if you think our program is for you or you would like more information, please email me at billy.phillips.navy.mil or saipanwarrior@yahoo.com.

Looks like our season will start the week of 15 June most likely playing the South Richmond Post Team that went to the World Series last year in a Doubleheader.

So, if you are looking for a team, please let us know....email me at saipanwarrior@yahoo.com....
we already have commitments from some of the areas top high school seniors and returning numerous players from last years team.

Sure - The Palomino League will play on Wednesday and Sunday as their regular scheduled days. Lynnhaven Baseball will probably have three teams....Each of those teams will play different schedules including woodbat games and tournaments. The team that plays the Legion Team out of Richmond will not be a select team.......We will select our "Final" team or teams from the players of the three teams after they complete their scheduled game based on player performance. However, if things work out like last year, we will send a 18U team to Bowie, MD for the NABF Woodbat Regional and if one of the Lynnhaven Teams win the Palomino League or end of the season tournament, we will send a 19U team to Greensboro for the Palomino Regional.
