Lynnhaven Palimino Wins in Regional Play

Lynnhaven Palimino wins Pony Baseball Regional tournament in Greensboro NC. Play was July 24/25, after taking the first two games on Friday, Lynnhaven came out a little flat on Sat morning losing game 3. But in game 4 the team played a solid offensive and defensive game winning in 5 innings. This puts the Team in the East Zone tournament with play beginning 7/31-8/3.

Lynnhaven Baseball's Palomino Team will head for Butler, PA (Pittsburgh) on Friday to start their run to the World Series in San Jose, CA. Over the past two weeks, this team has come on strong and is playing some great baseball. After winning the 40 team tournament in the Tidewater Area put on by the Hurricanes, they went to Greensboro NC and beat a very talented team 3 out of 4 games.

Our first game will be Saturday at 1230 against Youngstown, OH or North Allegheny, PA.
