I'm curious about this kid. He's a 2018 who tops out at 94mph. It appears he played football at Fayetteville County High School (GA) this year, but doesn't show up on the baseball roster or box scores. Anyone have any info?

We have seen him a lot. Have seen 94 several times. Listed at 5'11, but doesn't look that tall. Arm really works pretty and lightening fast, good athlete. In addition to the velocity, he is really good! Here is his profile...

Thanks, PG. I saw a PG tweet and video on this kid and came away very much impressed. Looks like he's been a 90+ kid since eighth grade or so. Showed the profile to my son, whose first comment was, "He's 5'11"?!!!"
Does he project as a pitcher, MIF or CF?

He's a pretty amazing kid. Always remember him being very athletic.
I recall talking with his HomePlate coach a couple summers ago, and he told me that they were amazed when Makenzie missed a tourney to attend a family event, and the next tourney he had gone from 78 to 86-87. Amazing stuff.
Vandy has a pretty strong 2018 class.
One of my buddies said he's a great young man, lives at the Homeplate facility and is a tireless worker. It's easy to root for kids like that.

Any idea why he isn't playing for his high school. I'm guessing, given that he's committing to Vandy, grades aren't the problem.
