I don't know any more about this league than I could discover in a few minutes on the Internet, but I'm not sure it really qualifies as a collegiate summer league.

None of the web sites that cover summer college ball cover this league. Many of the players on this summer league's rosters are not on the rosters of the colleges they're listed as attending. Maybe they play club ball? I couldn't find any D1 players from out of the area. Didn't see any of the usual announcements other summer leagues post about their alumni moving on to bigger and better things.

From my cursory review, it looks more like a summer league for local college age kids than a collegiate summer league.
some of your info simply isnt true.its not on a level of cal ripken but it is decent. Its more d3 & juco than anything. Some teams will have 1 promissing high school sr. Ive seen alot of mc germantown, mc rockville, pgcc, bccc, catholic uni, mcdanial, stevenson, frostburg, salisbury, st. mary's coll, coll of southern md.Even a couple of local d1 players, not superstars but theyre there. its a decent league to get some reps in for d3 level players. Most kids and parents fool themselves into thinking they are better than they are, if you are a decent d3 player you wont make cal ripken but you can find a spot in this league. Evaluate yourself truthfully and make a decision.
"The MCBL is pleased to learn that Dave Kahn, a former MCBL player, has been selected as a 2010 All-American, and has also been named the 2010 Division III Player of the Year. He was named Player of the Year not only by D3Baseball.Com but was a unanimous choice for Player of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association."

Thats not bad, so there is talent at this league.
