You sound pretty certain. However, I wonder if they might decide to go a different direction.

If I recall correctly, the Terp ERA has not exactly been headed in the right direction in the last couple of years. I don't think it has been below 5 since he arrived and now is approaching 6 earned runs per game. It looks like either they are not recruiting the right quality of pitchers or not utilizing them correctly. But, since becoming the pitching coach/recruiting coord. I would think Coach Farr would be responsible for both. I am sure folks more knowledgable will weigh in here.
Another thing I would add is that a change in the head coaching position in College Park doesn't seem like a big deal (ie, does anybody even care?).

I still do not think either the Wash Post or the Balt Sun have reported it. Nor is this a big deal nearly anywhere else I can find. I am sure it is a big deal to the players in the program and their families....outside of that, I am not so sure.

Whoever does get the job will have to find a way to make this a meaningful program and may not have all the resources to do so. This 'could' be a great opportunity for a 'longshot' candidate to come in, win, add some excitement, get recruits interested again in Terp baseball, and so on. I doubt that without plenty of assurances, a high profile name will end up in College Park.
