Any truth to the rumor about Coach Matlock returning to FM next season?
That would be a great game to watch Matlock (I respect) versus Cumpley.

Hadn't heard it. The only rumors I've heard about Coach Matlock had colleges involved, not back to FM.
And Elvis will be in the stands watching.

....and get your schools striaght and check the spelling of the coach's name or tie the correct coach with the correct school. Maybe you should check your facts and start this "rumor" again!

The next place Coach Matlock will be a head coach at will be a college. He took the volunteer assistant position at TCU to put "college coaching experience" on his resume.

Good question! I have not read too much about Coppell on his threads. I guess Coach English is beyond criticism. Or maybe if he left, and coach Matlock took over, Coppell would win a state championship the next season. 
UpnIn....whats wrong? So your friend never told you some info that was not credible? The story was told to me by a non V starter(injury)at FM. I am friends with him. I suggest you take a chill pill which can be purchased from OBN. 
Regarding spelling...that was intentional that MArcus coach is a CHUMP and I cannot believe people allow such animation on the field. He should be in the WWF where he would be a star. I will not forget last years playoff game against us...he was a CHUMP.

Oh yeah, we all miss GOD/Derek (notice use of first name), but I'll ask Steve (first name basis again) if there's any truth to it. If he doesn't know, I'll ask some of the sub-varsity players that are getting some playing time in FM, maybe they'll know.

For what its worth I have known Train for approximately six years and he is a really good guy. At least he has always treated me with respect. I don't think in my opinion it was his intent to provoke any ill feelings. Probably if he had to do all over again he would not ask.

IMO...My beliefs have always been if a kid is good they will do well...if a kid is great they will be found. I do not believe in promoting kids on here and I have seen it done too many times. People upset about playing time, stats,(its just a number) get over it. If a kid is great, scouts see past a number and great things will happen. Compare your sons against the past draftees and future () and see how he ranks up. You know who the good and great ones are. I agree the more "good" ones on a team will get you to RR. But, the "great" ones put the money in the bank and play at the next level which is why we play this game called BASEBALL

I had formulated a reply to the last submission to this thread. However, I went back to the board and picked up the "Who is Train" thread, read it and have decided to take the "high" road in this case. I will ask one question though to "Train". What is a "tansferee"?
