Senior Tony Mazur pitched a 7 inning no-hitter tonight in Ashburn, as the Stone Bridge Bulldogs defeated the Thomas Jefferson Colonials, 5-0. Sophomore Mike Stancik paced the Stone Bridge (4-2, 3-2) offense, going 3 for 3 including a double and his first career home run, an opposite field shot down the right field line. Senior shortstop David Ball was 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Sr. Niko Kolocuris has 2 hits as well, both doubles. Mazur was backed up by some excellent defensive plays made by Ball, third baseman Stancik, center fielder Jeron Gouveia and first baseman Chris Dzurilla.
The Bulldogs will host the Langley Saxons this Thursday, April 6. First pitch is at 6:30PM.
