The McKinney Marshals (www.McKinneymarshals.com) have announced their FINAL tryout schedule for their summer 2007 16-18U teams. Tryouts will be at December 3 at Richardson High School. RHS is located on Beltline Rd, west of I-75 Central Expressway. In the case of inclement weather, call 214-551-9546.

The cost to play for the Marshals is $1,500. This cost covers EVERYTHING except travel expenses. The Marshals will field 4 teams in 2006: 15, 16, 17-18U mix, and 18U. Our teams play an estimated 40-45 games. We play in the Lone Star Baseball League and play in 5 showcase tournaments or invitationals with our postseason starting at the AABC state tournament which results in a 6 tournament min.
Don't let the name McKinney fool you. We have kids play for us from as far as Mesquite, Midlothian, Keller, and even the far west town of Lewisville. We are a true metroplex select program with proven success.
For the third year in a row, our 15 year old team will be once again headed by Mark Ferrer (Former player at OCU) Devon Mize (Former player at AC) and Adam Yates (Former player at SNU). Their team was 29-15 last summer and finished 2nd in the AABC 15U State/Regional.
Our 16 year old team will be headed for the 6th year in a row by "Evil" Dave Ostroff (Former player at Dartmouth) and Brian "BT" Thomas (Former player TAMU) and Andrew Embry (Former player at UH).Their team went 29-18 last summer, won the 16U LSBL league title and finished fourth out of 26 teams at the Premier World Series at TAMU.
Our 18U mix team will be headed by first year Marshal coaches John Tovar (Former player at SWT), Rudy Garza (Former player at TT), and Paul Paramo (Former player at UTA). This will be the first time we have had a mix (17-18U) team.
For the fifth year in a row, our 18U team will again be headed by Andy Postema (Former Orioles INF), Dax Powell (Former player at UT) and Rene Asprion (Royals Assoc. Scout). This team went 39-20 last summer and won their AABC state tournament and finished 1-2 at the AABC Regional.
