Mckinney North 6-2 over Rockwall heading bottom of 7

McKinney North trying to force a Game 3... leads Rockwall 6-2 with Jackets batting in bottom of sixth...

North senior righthander Justin Scharf doing well .. I'm normally not a submarine, but Scharf generally was keeping ball low...2 runs were unearned... he should still have a shutout...

Rockwall got 7 runs in a Game 1 win off North ace Kindle Ladd .. That's an explosion for the Jackets, who don't have near the hitting of some of their past baseball playoff powerhouses...

But junior catcher JD Deloach has unbelievably quick wrists.. reminds me of Scott Livingstone (former Lake Hi/A&M/MLB)... not saying DeLoach is that kind of player, just the fast hands... really nice swing on freshman Spencer Edwards.. (on the DMN site... he's hitting .330 something ... just a regular sized kid, but that's impressive for a Class of 2012

Scharf was very good tonight. North bats showed up tonight also. Good game for the bulldogs. Game 3 tomorrow 730pm at Jesuit.
