I don't have first-hand knowledge of them, but I googled them to check them out since it is freezing cold here and all I can think about is baseball.
I got their home page but did not see any athletic links of any kind. It appears one or more of their past players is/are currently playing for Rice. From what I know, Rice is one of the top D1 programs in the nation.

I played basketball there way, way back in the day (Vinnie Johnson Era). The baseball program seems to be a little down compared where they were some years ago. I can say that for a JC, the campus is very beautiful & first rate. The baseball facilities are also good, in fact, if a batter really gets a hold of a belt-high fastball down the middle, the ball could end up in the Brazos River that flows beyond the RF fence. So bottom line, I would be very happy if my 05 ended up a Highlander.

My son had a teammate last year who is playing there. Don't know any details but he has really liked it from what I understand.
