Hope that everyone survived the winter. Just want to let folks know where we are at with the 15U International Championship in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

We currently have teams from: Japan, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico (2), Canada (2), Brazil (back after an 11 year absence), Sri Lanka and New Zealand. We have been told that this is the first time that youth baseball teams from New Zealand and Sri Lanka have played in the U.S. We are still working with teams fro the Bahamas, Panama and a 3rd Canada team for the 15U event.

A complete listing of Look Who's Coming for all age groups and additional information can be found on our web site at www.MCYSASports.org

Hope that everyone has a great spring and summer of baseball.

Cleveland Dad and others. I apoligise. I wasn't trying to generate anything. The tournament currently has 41 of 48 spots taken already. We will be turning teams away within the month.

I did not ask or tell anyone to sign up. I thought I was just informing those who might want to know about it. I figured, wrongly I guess, that people involved with 15U across the country might be interested in what internationals were coming.

It generated a fair amount of discussion on the Illinois board last year and I thought each region was the best way to let anyone who was interested know about it. I personally never go on this forum, until today, and figured that people who might be interested would be more likely to check out their region,

My bad. It won't happen again.
