Was just glad my son had a decent outing...has struggled the last couple of games!
Nick pitched a great game today, puma. And Tyler seems to be one of the only one that's not been choking with runners on base. Congrats Dads.
Hey, maybe this could be the new "secret" CCU site.
Bbregie, your boy once again came in and put out the Flames. Bet they were scared just to see him coming. Gotta keep this up so we can head out your way in the post season!!!!

It's a Chanticleer love-fest on here!
Puma1...if that was your son starting today...WOW WHAT AN ARM. He made a couple of LU guys look sick on a couple of 70-something off-speed pitches after an upper 80's-low 90's!
(I was safely indoors by the time the closer came in for the 9th.)
Thanks JT. That indeed was my boy. Glad YOU could see him pitch. I can't stand not being there.
I have to admit - it is getting hard to keep track of all of the Websters players - and all of their great games!
I actually had to put together a list - and bookmark the sites. LOL
Bravo to all of the Webster's players!!! And keep it up!

Nick McCully pitched like a man possessed yesterday. Really was not trying to trick anyone - mano y mano and that is when Nick pitches the best imho. He got a totally bogus call on a 9th inning 3-2 pitch that was right down the middle for strike 3 imho.
We went from very pleasant temperatures on Friday evening (mid 70's all night) to almost freezing the rest of the weekend. It is mid-50's and mild for opening day here in Cleveland today. Go figure
