Good point but I think you've got to go farther than that. I think the American League should be awarded home field advantage in the World Series this year.

Of course, if there is a way for Bud Selig to goof this up - he will. Ryan Braun was innocent as you know and of course, Bud Selig has no interest in the Milwaukee Brewers.

I think they should vacate his statistics for this year. Of course, Selig the stooge won't do anything about that. Ryan Braun got off on an unbelievably questionable technicality.
Then you would have to vacate the stats of every pitcher who pitched to him, change the scores of every game he scored a run and alter the standings.

Yahoo Sports story line "Melky Cabrera will be this year’s batting champion, according to projection system."
Yahoo Sports is the worst. How is he going to win the batting title when he isn't even leading the league in hitting? McCutchen is currently twelve points ahead of him. Cabrera has an opportunity to qualify to win the batting title.

Not necessarily. When the NCAA recently vacated wins from Penn State, those wins were not given to the opponents..
MLB is not the NCAA. Don't hold your breath waiting for statistics to be eliminated.
Cabrera has 501 plate appearances and 502 are needed to qualify for the batting title. However, there has been a precedent that if the needed AB's are counted as hitless, of which Cabrera would only need one, and the player still leads in the percentage, then his statistic is accepted. Thus if Melky is awarded 0-1 in the extra plate appearance he needs and this leaves him with a higher batting average than all other NL qualifiers, he will be the batting champ according to the rules in place.
