Will anyone be in Mentor OH for the GLBL tourney's?
An educated man went to visit a Zen master. He wished to learn what the Zen master knew. The master invited him in for tea and listened as his visitor told of his outstanding education. As the visitor talked on and on about his long and valuable education, the Zen master began pouring more tea for the man, until his cup was overflowing and the tea was spilling onto the man and onto the floor. “Stop,” the man said, “My cup is already too full; it cannot hold anymore.” “Yes,” said the Zen Master.

We are a 12 U team and we went 3 and 2 in the 13U american tournament. Lost in the playoffs to the Eventual champion and scored a run against them when everybody else got shut out.

Our boys played great and we took a lot out of the tournament.

And the best things that happened were:

1. My son threw out the runner at first from center field with two outs and a runner on third.

2. He also hit his first homerun on a 300 foot fence field!! we measured it and it was approximately 320 feet!! he hit the storage unit behind the fence so it was easy to measure. He turns 13 in November.

I thought my chest was going to burst in pride. And the next time I drink, or in a year or two it will be a 400 ft shot!!
We took 1rst in our tourney and lil IB didn't throw a single pitch. Smile
He's thrown a lot of innings lately and we play the second place team in the league tomorrow so the plan was to rest him if possible so he's fresh for that game. Hopefully he comes thru and has a good outing.
Our kids pitched and hit well, lil IB bounced one off the top of the fence with the bases loaded and it bounced BACK into the field for a dbl instead of OUT for a salami
So in that game he had a dbl, triple, home run, and a walk. We beat that team 16-4 and they weren't laughing at how small we were any more.
