I am posting this message on behalf of Mr. & Mrs. John Sawyer and the Tara Sawyer Memorial Foundation.
This year, we will be hosting the 5th Annual Tara Sawyer Memorial Tournament the weekend of Ocotober 6th-8th. The tournament, run by Texas Tournament Baseball, goes to benefit the Tara Sawyer Memorial Foundation, which provides athletic scholarships to underprivileged youth, including high school aged athletes. If any of your kids have participated in this tournament in the past, you know what a tremendous event it is...especially the auction!
This year, the Sawyer family is wanting to consider opening a JV & Varsity division. However, due to the preparation required in obtaining high school fields, umpires, etc., they would like to gather as much feedback as possible as to the number of teams that may be interested in participating. Therefore, if you have a team that may be interested in participating, please send me a PM so that I may provide an update to the Sawyer's.
