menchville baseball

I think some may argue that Menchville does have respect on the southside... people talked about how overrated this team was last year, i was one of them, and they went on to win states. now, they return just as strong as they were last year so I dont see this team being overrated at all.

But hey, anything can happen on any given day!

You might well see the matchup you're after later on in the season, so be patient.

Please post that matchup if Caves matches up against Menchville it would be a great game to see

Cave against Crismon would be a great match-up to see, but let's not forget - Bethel had Cave beat in the first game of the season, leading 5-2 in the sixth inning and they fell apart.

Cave is the top 2011 prospect in the state, signing with LSU and on his way to being a first round draft selection if all goes as planned.

But I would give the edge to Menchville in the match-up this year.

If cave was to play on a better overall team I believe they could beat menchville with him on the mound. But to face the facts, cave plays on a team that is young and will make costly errors in the field do to lack of experience. Kecoughtans overall team isn't that good, but with the addition of cave they become competitive with him on the mound in any big game, the defense will let them down in the end. Menchville is just too strong overall this year and if your a doubter like I was, then you need to catch a game. They have the talent to win states with chrisman and lake on the mound who in my opinion will shut down any team they face. The younger pitchers will throw innings against the weaker teams. The monarchs hitting has come threw so far and defense in solid overall. these guys are good and any doubt's are just due to pure ignorance. Not a menchville fan but they are the real deal so far!
