Does anyone have any info on Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC? My '06 has been asked to come for a visit. I know its DIII, and they have been pretty successful on the field, but that's about it.

all the kids are there for one sport or another
Coach Austin is one of the nicest guys you can meet and he wins--a true southern gentleman
They also have a JV program that plays local JUCOS so freshman not on the varsity will get some great playing time with the JV

My son was recruited by Methodist a few years ago. TR sums it up pretty well.
In addition it is a small school.
I would check out the graduating rate. It's fairly low.

Leftys Dad I have a former player there right now. He is a Freshman this year a catcher. I have known several kids that have played there. If you pm me I will give you the kids phone number and you can talk to him about his experience this season first hand. Coach Austin is a great man a terrific coach. The facilities are outstanding. They have some very good players there right now that could play at any level D-1 D-2 it doesnt matter. TR is right it is an athletes school. Just about everyone plays something baseball football basketball etc. Good Luck
Another shoutout for Methodist. My brother is at Tufts, and they played Methodist in March. Great facilities, well coached, classy program...there's a reason why they're always at the top of one of the best Div. III leagues in the country...
And they lost with class, too...my brother and 3 others combined for a shutout against them.
