Son is a 2014.
If I am not mistaken, you have to be nominated by a scout or coach to DBAT, they then choose based on the recommendations who gets an invite without having to tryout. If you don't get an invitation, then you can tryout to make a team.

Don't think so once the teams are selected, they are divided evenly, but getting there might be "who you know".
Best league in town. Last year at the tryout they had 255 kids show up for 25 spots.
monkeyboy, it's worth it. One of the best things we did.

Get you son's HS and summer coaches to recommend him and he'll probably get in before the tryout stage.
