After a 3+ hour delay, the final 2 games of the day were played. Results from Wednesday:

East Cobb Titans win 9-7 over Midland Braves
Encinitas Gamers win 6-3 over DBat/Mustangs
Long Island Titans win 2-1 over Puerto Rico Orioles
Dallas Patriots win 11-3 over BYSL Blue Devils
Kalamazoo Maroons win 8-0 over Frozen Ropes

The Patriots were the only TX team to win yesterday and face the Long Island Titans today at 5:00pm. DBat and the Frozen Ropes play in the losers bracket and one TX team will be eliminated after 2 games.

Sometimes a slow start is just what it takes to get the ball rolling.

DBat/Mustangs (1-1) win 9-7 vs Frozen Ropes (0-2). Frozen Roopes eliminated

East Cobb Titans (2-0) win 13-5 vs Kalamazoo Maroons (1-1)

Encinitas Gamers (1-0) and Midland Braves (0-1) had byes yesterday.

The schedule is not updated online. I only know for sure that the Dallas Patriots will play the Encinitas Gamers at 10:00am today.

Does anyone know if the EC Titans picked up some of their Astros team players? The Titans are not at the top of the pecking order in East Cobb Baseball 16U or 15U, and was just curious if anyone knew if they added to with a few of those 16U Astros team players (which by the way is a salty 16U team)?

Don't know whether the EC Titans picked up any EC Astros players or not...but they did make it to the sweet 16 of the 17U WWBU event East Cobb in July, so they must be pretty salty themselves.

Friday afternoon schedule

2:30 Midland v. Kalamazoo (loser is done)

5:00 DBAT v.Patriots (loser is done)

8:00 Cobb v. Gamers (both undefeated)

Heard they may be looking at getting championship in Saturday evening.

What was the score to the Patriots-Gamers game??

Not sure if they are from the Astros, but 4 new kids showed up yesterday. They were on the roster from the regional tournament, but did not show until now.

Both team had a little trouble in this one: 10 errors on the board. Some good flashes of playing, though.

East Cobb Titans and Encinitas Gamers going right now. The battle of the undefeated.

I heard tomorrows schedule is 1, 4, and championship at 7. The what if game will be Sunday at 1:00.

Final 4: Dallas Patriots, Midland Braves, East Cobb Titans and Encinitas Gamers. 3 of the 4 will have 1 loss while either East Cobb or Encinitas will be undefeated (playing each other now).

Regardless of the outcome of that game, tomorrow's games will be:

Dallas Patriots vs East Cobb Titans
Midland Braves vs Encinitas Gamers

The Patriots are the only one of the final 4 not to have a bye at this point. So if the Patriots can get by East Cobb they will be in the championship game.

Any update on the gamers game this evening, I have a friend who is playing on that team.

East Cobb 11-3 over Encinitas Gamers. East Cobb is the only unbeaten reamining.

If East Cobb beats Patriots the championship game would be tonight. If the Patriots win, East Cobb will play the winner of the other semi tonight and the championship game would be tomorrow.

Dallas Patriots run rule East Cobb Titans 8-0 in 5 innings to reach the championship game. The championship game will be played Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm. East Cobb will play the Encinitas/Midland winner at 7:00pm tonight to determine the other finalist.

Midland beat the Gamers 10 to 0.

This sets up tonight's game as the Midland Braves vs. East Cobb Titans. Winner plays the Dallas Patriots at 1:00 pm tomorrow for the championship.

East Cobb comes back from a 4-0 deficit in the 7th to beat Midland.

Sorry, Bum, Encinitas lost to the Midland Braves.

GREAT game last night between Midland and East Cobb. Cobb wins 5-4. Great win for them, but heart breaking loss for the Midland.

Cobb and Patriots today at 1:00.

East Cobb beat the Dallas Patriots 8-1 in the championship game. EC scored all 8 runs in the top of 3rd aided by 3 Patriot errors. Other than that all 0's. Patriots took a 1-0 in the bottom of the 1st, but a controversial call in the bottom of 2nd (Patriots had bases loaded and 1 out) turned the momentum. To EC's credit they took advantage and their pitcher settled down and wound up putting up 6 straight scoreless innings. Congrats to EC...too bad the Patriots couldn't bring the championship to Texas. The Patriots finish the summer with a 65-10 record. Job well done men!

Thanks for the updates fellas, we have a tourney here in san diego so we will get one of our players back from the gamers team. Was hoping they make it to the finals but it looks as though they didn't have enough pitching.
