Very good baseball. Not a very big town but a very convenient campus. Good coaches. Coach Young has been there a while and knows how to win and the kids love playing for him.

As a side note. MGC just won the Region 17 championship this past weekend and will be playing the winner of Region 7 to see who goes to Grand Junction, CO to play in the World Series.

Thanks dawgduck. I have watched them play a little this year and my son has worked out with the team. I have also watched a top 20 D1 ACC school play several games this season (some against other ACC teams) and it looks to me that the talent level between MGC and some of these "elite" D1 programs is about the same. Any thoughts from you and/or others is welcome.
