In an attempt to coordinate our baseball philosophy throughout our school system, we are helping out with our Middle School Tryouts. In doing so, we are getting to spend quality time with our coaches down there and have had such a good time with the kids. We have now had 4 days of 101 heat with a heat index (humidity and temperature) of 115. Yet, those kids keep showing up and working their butts off. We are so blessed!!! If you've forgotten what it's like to enjoy the game, go watch a bunch of 12 year olds. They'll make you laugh and they'll inspire you with their determination. JMHO!

That sounds great!!!!! If you want to have some real fun on the last day get a big plastic tarp and make a slip-n-slide in the outfield. The kids will have a blast and the coaches will also get into the act. I saw this done at the Vanderbilt camp and Coach Corbin got a perfect 10 for his dive.
