So far I've heard that St Louis Comm College (Forest Park) has a very good program and they're ranked something like 4th in the nation in D2 JUCO's. Also, I know that Southwestern Illinois College is quite good too. Are there any other good St. Louis area JUCO's that are good to take a look at???

Southwestern Illinois is in a conference
(GRAC) with several juco's that are within 2-3 hrs of St Louis.

They are Olney ranked 14th D1 juco as of April 14th, John A Logan finished in top 8, 2 yrs ago, Wabash Valley came out preseason ranked top 25(2004), of course Southwestern preseason ranked also, Lincoln Trail, Rend Lake, Kaskaskia, and Southeastern Illinois College which is where my son attends. The last four teams are each having good season and I know that Southeastern's coach is in his 3rd yr and this is his first full recruited team that he signed. Rend Lake has a new coach this yr so they are rebuilding, amd Kaskaskia's coach is on his 2nd yr. They seem to be doing pretty good also.

That is a little info on some juco's close to St Louis.

Meramec of St Louis Comm. College is also a great program Coach Dattoli is a good coach. Hope this helps.
If my son would go anywhere in St. Louis or the area, it would be Meramec CC. There strong tradition and Coach Dattoli will get them back to where they used to be. They have been inconsistent this year, but he has signed some fantastic players and I'm just warning you, look out for Meramec in the future. Also, his former Assistant Coach(Coach White) has won 30 games at Dyersburg State in Tennessee and set a school record with his first full recruiting class. Those two guys will win(Dattoli and White).
