Wow, I got to see some of these games this weekend between the Columbus Sharks, South Oakland A's, Manchester A's and the Union Post Playmakers. Some incredible baseball took place with each team playing 4 games on Saturday, 2 DH's each. All teams had some incredible hitting, the S. Oakland A's hit and then hit again. The most impressive game I think had to be the Sharks and S.Oaklnad A's second game the score ended up 14-11 and they ALL ripped the ball no matter where they played each other in the field and some awesome pitching to boot. The Manchester A's had a huge pitcher that brought some heat likely in the 70+mph range and they held the Sharks in a close one I think the Sharks won 5-4 then 18-4 or something like that. All in all the Sharks went 4-0, Manchester A's 0-4, S.Oakland A's 2-2 and the Playmakers 2-2 if I am not mistaken.
This is certainly the best competition I have sen so far this early in the season at U12. Great sportsmanship all the way around to boot!!!
