Im extremely proud of my son Mike for deciding to accept a baseball scholarship and sign his LOI to John Logan Junior College in Carterville Illinois --right next to SIU -Carbondale . Mike attends Notre Dame of Niles il and plays his summer/fall ball for the Illinois Sparks/ Cangelosi ( 2nd place at Jupiter in October ) . Mike plays 0f- 1b and swings it pretty good from the left side . He has worked awfully hard over the years to reach this point and has fought thru some minor injuries and adversity proving his mettle and determination .
