Any word on where he may be playing next year, I know currently he's at Berkshire School where he preped for football and baseball (playing baseball in college)

I haven't seen his name much but at the end of the summer I saw him in relief and a start at pitching, 86-89 in relief, and 85+ with movement as a starter.

Also saw him in the field, great hands at 3rd base, and a great outfielder. I know his father Mark, played ball for the Pirates (ECSU graduate), and I've seen Riemer hit the cover off the ball.

He also has sub 7 60 speed, and at perfect game he threw 90 from the outfield and was still 17, so I'm curious about any other information on this kid.

Mike played on the same TCB team as my son and the two remain good friends. Spoke with Mike's mom, Ellen, a few weeks ago, and at that time he hadn't made a decision, yet.

I've watched Mike pitch, hit (including putting the ball out of the park during a game at Fairfield), play short and outfield. I've seen how he acts during practices and games, how he conducts himself on the road, and because my son and I spent more than one weekend as guests in the Riemer home, I've gotten to observe Mike's behaviour away from the field. For those who don't know Mike, I want you to know that he is not only a fine athlete, but also a fine young man with exemplary character. I am by no means an expert, but I truly believe that Mike will be an asset wherever he plays.
