I haven't seen anything definitive written about how a new ballpark, if it is built, will affect SU baseball.

Have there been any promises made about the Hornets having full access to the new field for practices and home games? I've seen some offhand references to that, but nothing that is certain. If there have been promises, commitments,etc., made, then by whom?

If SU does have full access to the field, will there be potential conflicts with overlapping schedules between the SU and the MiLB teams?

SU admins need to pony up some cash!

How does that work? TCW? If SU kicks in, they'll get access to the new ballpark? How much cash do you expect that would take?

IDK how much cash, but the SU admin's should look at this for a long-term commitment.

After reviewing the LEASE, I am against it because how one-sided the lease was drawn up. We are paying the EDA exec $111,000 a year to deliver a lease like that to city council for consideration is asinine, IMHO.

A lot of folks have stepped back and done a double-take about reviewing that proposed lease.

It was the 4th of July early in Winchester last night with the 1st reading on the proposed MiLB stadium within Jim Barnett Park!

As much as the baseball I am, I have much concern as the ugly head of the LEASE has emerged itself.

City Council will vote on land transfer on March 13th for MiLB to come to Winchester or not.
