Not firing coaches based soley on parents ridiculous complaints, common sense.

 

Parents reporting real issues (child abuse etc..) and them being proven; another story.

 

Not having read the legislation, I hope it does not protect coaches from actual validated wrong doings reported by parents.

 

It would not be the first time legislation went overboard and prevented actual rotten apples from consequences.

Exactly.  I'm not sure our Founding fathers would have anticipated legislation being used for this purpose.  It is quite sad when you have to legislate common sense.
