Throughout my baseball related career and as a spectator/fan, I feel that I have always kept umpiring issues properly in the background.

But Holy $h!T, how does Angel Hernandez still have a job at the highest level?  I keep seeing graphs and charts and hearing all about the regular testing umpires face at the minor and major league level.  I keep seeing and hearing about the consistently terrible calls he makes.  His bad calls occur at a rate that is highly disproportionate to any other umpire to say the least.  The Harper check swing is the latest.  This has been going on for years on end.  Can anyone shed some light on why he is still employed?  Not demoted?  How can MLB not see what a dent this puts on league credibility?
